Location

Just a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning Bay of Keri, the villa has an exceptional location. You’ll find the crystal clear water of the beach and attractive harbour just a short stroll away. This laid back, picturesque resort offers plenty of boat trips and a handful of welcoming, local tavernas and shops. For those who wish to explore, the larger resort of Laganas and charming Kalamaki are just along the coast. Beaches

The picturesque Bay of Keri is home to a small strip of sandy beach which becomes pebbly further around the bay. The bay is also home to a very special visitor, the Loggerhead turtle. Marathia, further around the bay, offers a small oasis away from busy resort beaches. Still a well-kept secret, this pebbly beach has fantastic clear water and rocks from which you can swim or fish. Enjoy the natural setting with fantastic views over the bay to the island of Marathonisi. For larger beaches, venture along the coastline to the resorts of Laganas and Kalamaki. Further afield, the south western peninsula known as Vasilikos is home to some of the most pristine, golden sands on the island. The 40 minute drive will be well worth the wait.

The Damianos Caves, in the nearby village of Agalas, is a unique two-storey cave filled with stalagmites and stalactites. You can enjoy views extending over the cliffs and out to sea and there is a taverna close by serving excellent food. The scenery is beautiful and if you are there in the evening, make sure to experience the stunning sunset.

A 10 minute drive from Keri takes you to the small village of Lithakia, home to the Aristeon Olive Oil Factory. Guided tours explain step by step the production process and you can try the fresh oil with homemade bread and local olives – delicious!

By far the most famous attraction on the island, Shipwreck Beach is not to be missed. Scenes of the dramatic wreck can be admired from a vista point high in the mountains or alternatively, take to the water and see the shipwreck up close on an organised boat trip.

Bocchali, which sits high on a hill above Zante Town, is a beautiful settlement that makes for a lovely visit. Explore the ancient Venetian castle and enjoy a sunset cocktail overlooking the hustle and bustle of the town below.

Keri’s harbour front has a selection of traditional tavernas where you can dine with a view and fresh fish is often on the menu here. There are also two relaxing bars where you can sit and take in the views over the bay during the day, until late at night. As well as classic Greek eateries, you’ll also find restaurants that offer modern cuisine. Further around the bay, visit Marathia, with a very special taverna sharing spectacular views over to Marathonisi or ‘Turtle Island’. Just a 20 minute drive away is the small resort of Agios Sostis offering even more choice. Or for a lively night out, Laganas is also within a short drive.

Limni Keri is home to a few small village supermarkets and a gift shop. Find gift and souvenir shops galore in the resort of Kalamaki and Laganas, approximately 20 minutes’ drive away, along with a variety of supermarkets. Or venture a little further, to Zante Town, with a wide selection of shops to suit all tastes, from jewellery and clothes, to gifts and souvenirs.
